Inven2 is part of a vital, ever-growing ecosystem in research and development. The area near Inven2’s premises in Oslo Science Park is home to a number of clusters and incubators, as well as the University of Oslo and Oslo University Hospital.

This ecosystem is especially strong in the field of life sciences. This is reflected by the fact that about two-thirds of Inven2’s projects involve developing new therapies and medical technology equipment that patients worldwide can benefit from.

Inven2’s areas of responsibility reach all over Norway. Inven2 handles all contracts, agreements and finances relating to clinical studies on behalf of all hospitals in the South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority and the University Hospital of Northern Norway. Inven2 also cooperates closely with the other technology transfer offices (TTOs) in Norway: Norinnova Technology Transfer, Innoventus Sør, Kjeller Innovasjon, NTNU Technology Transfer, SINTEF TTO, Bergen Teknologioverføring, Validé.
